I too am having the same problem.

Your board may have an intel chip for raid and ide – you could unplug the drives from the promise raid and plug your drives into the intel raid chip – consult rasttrak motherboard manual on how to set up raid prior to OS installation, and then w7 will load the driver for it automatically during installation, and once your OS is installed you install the intelmatrix driver raiv. No i haven’t tired flushing the CMOS. It won’t read the files within any directories on the media. I didn’t have any issues with the HDDs attached to the PDC as they were archival drives where write speed didn’t matter.

I’ve tried to go back to v1. Already have an account? Hope we find something that works. Copy all drivers to the root and the Vista Install will pick them up. I tried all the above and the solution to my problem was this driver.
